A Peek Into My Mind

Remember, I told you guys that Princess lives i Seattle? Thats why you guys hardly ever see her on my blog. A few weeks ago, my dear friend turned the small 3-0. As a present, Michelle, Paulette and I flew up to visit her! She was so happy that we came!! And we were so happy we did it, too!!
We flew in Thursday night and slept at her and Chow’s house. On Friday, we drove to stay at a bed & breakfast in Samish Island. Saturday, we drove back to Seattle and had dinner. Sunday… we went home.

When we arrived to Samish Island, we were all so happy and excited to see the water! Princess and me ran down the dock and started rocking it. Fun times!
I really love that picture of me and Princess. I seriously, think that I look sooo cute in my pants & TOMS. Don’t you guys agree?
This was our room at the B&B. It was very nice. Clean. It was nice to be away from TVs and all other modern technology.

We ate dinner at an all you can eat seafood restaurant. The food was good! We laughed a lot.
We splurged, though. We bought some champagne to celebrate Princess’ birthday! One swig of the champagne and Princess’ ears were burning.

Here’s Day 232′s picture. I thought the view we had in the evening was lovely!

After a very good night’s rest, we woke up refreshed and ready for breakfast. But, before breakfast we wanted to play on the dock and put our feet in the water. The problem was…
where’d the water go?
I guess 2x a day, there is high tide and low tide. We were wondering what time high tide was going to come back.
If you go to the Alice Bay B&B, you’ll be served something like this:

After a light breakfast, we headed to the little town of LeConner. We had lunch in the town.

Unfortunately, there were no photos taken afterward. When we arrived back to Princess’ home, we got ready to go out on the town to eat dinner at the Art Restaurant in the 4 Season’s Hotel in Downtown Seattle. I’ll be honest. it was aight. i had better. but don’t tell anyone.
Princess wasn’t feeling so hot, so we went home after dinner. Actually, she felt horrible. I was the only one of the 4 that was capable of driving home that night. So, I drove… the mean streets of Seattle. We all survived!

The next morning, had to say goodbye to our lovely friend and jetted back to LA.
That little cutie is Princess’ baby boy, Lucas. He’s getting so big! And guess what! He’s already being potty trained!! My lovely MOMS.

This is my favorite picture from that weekend. The owner of Alice Bay took it for us. We were trying to sit in a hammock. It wasn’t working.
